Patient Concierge
FHE Health is a healthcare institution that delivers quality, medically integrated personalized treatment for those suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders. As a Patient Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families. You will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Your main goal will be to ensure that patients have a positive experience during their visit to our facility. You will work closely with medical staff to ensure that patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our Mental Health and Detox patients.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a healthcare, customer service or mental health setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with patient management software and general computer proficiency
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
Ability to handle sensitive situation with empathy, patience and professionalism
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism with high-stress situations
Strong sense of discretion and understanding of mental health challenges
Knowledgeable of HIPPA regulations and confidentiality requirements
High School or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work or related field is preferred
Current CPR Certification or must be obtained
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtained
Essential Job Function of the Patient Concierge
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment
Orientate the patients to the facility
Assist patients with admission check-in and discharge processes
Assists with patient navigation within the facility, including providing directions and escorting patients to appropriate departments
Answers phone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information in pleasant and helpful manner
Ongoing knowledge of all FHE programs and services
Acts as a liaison between patients and any department as needed
Schedules and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and reminders efficiently.
Notifies the proper department or personnel and follows-up to ensue patient complaints, concerns have been addressed or resolved.
Performs other duties as assigned
Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM - 3:30PM or 3:00PM - 11:30PM
