As a Meat Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver helpful service: Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Perform other duties as assigned.
To succeed as a Festival Foods Meat Clerk, you should have:
Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment.
Food safety: A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices.
Ability to multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
Safety mindset: An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.

Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
Full range of upper body motion
Lifting up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis

Repetitive motion of hands and wrists
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This is a part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
