Experience with

Job Summary:
This contingent Senior Software Engineer will serve as the enterprise
Power BI expert
responsible for building advanced reporting and analytics for toolchain adoption, maturity, and usage.
The engineer will architect dashboards, define KPIs, integrate multiple data sources, build data models, and partner closely with engineering and leadership stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and insight.
The role also requires strong ETL capabilities, advanced DAX modeling, crossteam collaboration, and the ability to serve as the primary escalation point for all toolchain reporting issues.
DaytoDay Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and deliver advanced
Power BI dashboards
for toolchain adoption, maturity, usage, KPIs, and impact reporting.
Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Ops, Transformation, and IT leadership to gather reporting requirements.
Build and maintain
data models, Power Query/M transformations, and DAX measures
for enterprise reporting.
Integrate data from
APIs, data lakes, vendor tools, internal databases, Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps , and CI/CD platforms.
Provide actionable insights to leadership around productivity, automation, quality, onboarding, risk, maturity, and toolchain gaps.
Deliver executivelevel reporting with drilldowns, segmentation, and highvisibility scorecards.
Define reporting frameworks, governance models, integrity checks, and data security standards.
Lead continuous improvement of reporting capabilities; act as SME for Power BI and toolchain analytics.
Mentor junior analysts/engineers and guide best practices for BI development.
Support afterhours reporting or fixes when necessary (critical releases).
