Overview
We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to support a global manufacturing operation across 7 sites (U.S., U.K., Mexico, and Brazil). This role is critical in ensuring material availability, maintaining supplier performance, and supporting production schedules across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning and experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, order, and expedite materials to support production schedules across multiple sites
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues related to orders, packaging, and EDI discrepancies
Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics, and trade compliance
Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions to improve delivery metrics
Develop and maintain reporting tools, spreadsheets, and databases to track material flow and performance
Analyze supply chain effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives
Manage production schedules and inventory strategies aligned with manufacturing demand
Support new product introductions (NPI) and track related material requirements
Resolve supply chain issues including delays, cost discrepancies, and process gaps
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Proven experience in material planning, supply chain, or related field
Experience managing supplier relationships and delivery performance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with Oracle APCC or similar advanced planning systems
Background supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations
Familiarity with international logistics and trade compliance
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
High interaction with global teams across multiple time zones
