Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract assignment spans from July 7, 2026, through July 30, 2026, serving a diverse K-12th grade caseload. Qualifications and Experience Desired:Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institutionCurrent and valid Rhode Island state license to practice as a Physical TherapistPrevious experience in school settings preferred, especially with K-12 populationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and familiesAbility to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Assess student needs, design treatment plans, and track progress throughout the ESY periodCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure a cohesive therapeutic approachMaintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelinesContribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive ESY learning environment Benefits:Receive weekly pay for your expertise and dedicationCompetitive hourly compensation ranging from $40 to $60, depending on experience This short-term contract is an excellent fit for physical therapists who love working in school environments and are motivated to help students achieve their summer goals.
