Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time position is perfect for professionals passionate about making an impact on young learners within an educational setting. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists, helping students achieve greater success and independence in their school day. This role is based onsite, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and staff through hands-on support and personalized interventions. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027. Key Qualifications:Valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) for Indiana Experience or strong interest in elementary school settings Solid understanding of school-based OT assessments, IEP development, and interventions Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work onsite and commit to the full duration of the contract Team-oriented mindset and commitment to student growth
Primary Responsibilities:Deliver OT services to elementary school students in accordance with IEPs Complete timely and thorough assessments, progress reports, and documentation Collaborate with teachers and support staff on classroom strategies Involve families and caregivers in the therapy process and provide regular updates Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills Attend team meetings and contribute to planning for student progress
