Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. If you’re an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school-based experience and PDE certification, this is an ideal chance to make a difference among diverse learners. You’ll have flexibility in your schedule, working up to five days per week, with options for those seeking part-time (at least two days per week). Support is needed in a variety of school-based settings, including an Autistic Support classroom in Aston, as well as itinerant services for students in the surrounding communities such as Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, and additional support needs throughout Upper Darby, Yeadon, Darby, Clifton Heights, Ridley, Broomall, Lansdowne, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, and Wayne.
Requirements:Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certificationExperience working as a school-based SLPAbility to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsFlexibility to travel between multiple school and community locations as neededAvailability to start immediately Your Responsibilities Will Include:Assessing students’ communication abilities and developing individualized treatment plansProviding direct speech-language therapy services, including for students in Autistic Support classrooms and in itinerant capacitiesCollaborating with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progressDocumenting assessment results and session notes in accordance with school/district requirementsAttending staff meetings and IEP conferences as appropriate This role offers a chance to positively impact students’ communication skills in a range of supportive environments.
