Job Description
The Outside Appearance and Maintenance Person keeps the Dairy Palace property safe, clean, and inviting. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the exterior grounds, landscaping, and minor building repairs. Can be either part-time OR full-time.
Core Responsibilities:
* Parking Lot & Exterior: Daily sweeping of sidewalks and curbs; spot sweeping entire parking lot for cigarette butts and trash; empty and clean the three exterior cigarette urns; pressure wash sidewalks, entries, drive through area and parking lot; power wash dumpster area; paint curbs, railings and various fixtures; patch drive way; and keep the parking area cleaned of spills, tobacco and debris.
* Landscaping: Weeding, trimming, poisoning ants and seasonal plant care to maintain high curb appeal.
* Property Upkeep: Painting, changing filters, and ensuring all property is functional.
* Waste Management: Emptying and scrubbing outdoor bins and maintaining a clean dumpster area.
Requirements
* No Experience in general maintenance or landscaping is required.
* Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather is required.
* Consistent attendance and punctuality are required for this position.
* Self-motivated with a strong eye for detail is required.
* Dependable transportation is required.
Training will be consecutive days, varying hours. Once trained, the schedule will be Mon - Wed - Fri 9am - 2pm OR as agreed between Company and Employee.
