We are looking for a skilled Neurologist to provide exceptional patient care on a temporary basis in the scenic region of Petoskey, MI. Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Michigan
• Board-certified or eligible in Neurology
• Proven experience interpreting radiologic exams, EEGs, and conducting lumbar punctures
• Ability to perform evoked potentials and brain death examinations
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
• Ability to handle both inpatient and outpatient care, with flexibility for after-hours call coverage

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Familiarity with tele-neurology platforms
• Bilingual abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship or specialized training in neurology
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in a hospital setting
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to provide onsite hospital coverage across various shifts, including night and weekend call
• Compliance with immunization and health screening protocols (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID, TB, Tdap)
• Ability to utilize DocTime for clocking in/out; paper timesheets are not accepted
• No third-party lodging bookings; provider is responsible for travel and accommodation arrangements within policy guidelines
• Availability to start on May 3, 2026, for assignments ranging through early 2027
