Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Hospital-Based Pathology Lab
- Trauma Level: Level 3
- Responsible for Grossing Own Specimens & Cut Own Frozen Sections on the Cryostat
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC/Beaker
- Support Staff: 4 Physicians, 5 Histotechnologists, 1 Pathology Assistant, 2 Cytotechnologists
- Equipment: Thin prep integrated imager by Hologic, Cryostat-Avantik QS12UV, Avantik QS II, Nikon Eclipse E400, Olympus BX41
- Required Anatomic Pathology Procedures:
- Surgical Pathology
- Cytology
- Responsibilities: General anatomic pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology
- Current Volume: Approximately 13,000 surgical specimens and 3,000 cytology specimens per year
- Cytology Proficiency Exam Required for GYN Cytology
- Method of Preparation: Thinprep
- Locum to Perm available
Requirements:
- AP Board Certified
- Active NY State license
- Self-Query NPDB report, pulled within the same month
