Requirements

Responsibilities

Answer phones; transfer calls and responding to other forms of electronic communication

(Communication)

Customer Service: assist with the greeting of visitor's and handling inquiries from the public

(Professionalism)

Assist with event promotion and advertisement of on campus activities

(Critical Thinking)

Assists with the management of opening, closing and vacation periods within the residence halls

(Teamwork)

Various customer service activities

(Professionalism)

Assist in maintaining a secure living environment through proper policy enforcement

(Professionalism)

Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Residence Education staff

(Teamwork)

Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

Current USF student in good standing

Minimum GPA of 2.5

A commitment to quality customer service

Positive attitude

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

High level of maturity and responsibility

Satisfactory computer skills within Word and Excel in Microsoft Office

Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University

Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, with or without accommodation

Ability to pass background check

PREFERRED:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with individuals of all ages (specifically young adults from ages 18-25 years old)

Experience with e-mail programs such as Microsoft Outlook

Strong administrative skills and attention to detail is a plus
