Founding Operator Partner (San Mateo)
Full Stack CEO™, San Mateo, CA, United States
Why this role exists
Most operators join advisory boards and never hear from the founders again. This room is different — every week, a founder shows up with their actual numbers, their actual problem, and a genuine need for someone who's been there to tell them what they'd do. It's the most useful hour most operators in the room say they have all week.
Full Stack CEO™ is an operator-led program for VC-backed B2B SaaS and AI founders — from pre-seed to Series B. We run weekly live sessions, 10-week sprints, and Demo Days in front of active investors. The operators in the room are the product. We're building the next cohort of Founding Operator Partners — exited founders, active VCs, and senior GTM, product, AI, and leadership operators who show up to one standing session per week and tell founders what they actually think.
One hour a week. Same time. Real founders. Real questions. No slides, no pitch, no performance.
What you'll do
Show up to one standing weekly session — Tuesday (Pre-Seed), Wednesday (Seed), or Thursday (Series A). The session is 60 minutes, live on Zoom, with 8–15 founders at one stage. You answer questions, challenge assumptions, and share what you'd actually do. No prep required. No slides. Just the room.
Occasionally — a sprint office hour when a cohort hits a moment you've already lived, a pitch deck review before Demo Day, or a Slack thread when a founder needs a specific perspective fast. All opt-in.
Total commitment: 1 hour/week, same time every week. Fully remote.
Who this is for
You've done at least one of these at a B2B SaaS or AI company — shipped a product, built a GTM motion, raised a round, hired an exec team, sat in a board meeting, or been through an exit. You don't need to have done all of them. You need to have done yours well enough to have something real to say about it.
You might be:
An exited founder or former CEO with real scar tissue and real receipts
An active or former VC who works closely with portfolio companies at the operator level
A VP or C-suite operator in GTM, product, AI, finance, or people at a B2B SaaS company that's scaled past $10M ARR
A fractional executive who works with early-stage founders and wants a room that compounds your network
This is not a fit if
your primary goal is to sell services or source deals from the room. Relationships that emerge come from trust built over time — not from pitches in sessions.
What you get
Founding Operator Partner @ Full Stack CEO™ — a LinkedIn role tied to a program that's building real equity in the founder community, at the founding moment
Direct, unfiltered visibility into pre-seed to Series B B2B SaaS and AI founders — across every stage, every week, before anyone else sees them
A room of operators you'll actually want to know — handcrafted, not a generic network
Clean, organic dealflow surface if advisory, board, angel, or investment conversations make sense — they come from the founders, not from us
Early input into how the operating layer of the best AI-era SaaS companies gets built — your experience shapes how a generation of founders makes the decisions that matter most
You're joining while the network is still small and deliberately built. The Founding Operator Partners who help build this now will have the relationships, the visibility, and the reputation that comes from being in the room before it was crowded.
How to apply
Apply here on LinkedIn with a short note — two things only:
One sentence on your B2B SaaS or AI background — company, stage, what you owned
Which session you'd want to anchor: Tuesday (Pre-Seed), Wednesday (Seed), or Thursday (Series A)
If it's a fit, you'll be invited to a 30-minute conversation with Yannick Kpodar — GP at Aventra Capital and founder of Full Stack CEO™ — to align on the session, the room, and where your experience lands hardest.
We roll this continuously. If the timing isn't right, apply again for the next cohort.
