Title:
Electromechanical Technical Support Engineer
Location:
Johns Creek, GA (onsite)
Duration:
3 months Contract on W2 (Temp To Prem)
Shifts
Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST.
Second Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST.
Specific Education Requirements
High school diploma with technical school certification (ex. Manufacturing Technology) or equivalent training/experience.
Specialized diploma/degree or industry certification in at least three disciplines (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control systems, and/or equipment schematics).
Top 3 Must-Have Skill Sets
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical control circuits (24VDC–480VAC), Instrumentation (pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, conductivity meters), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLC-controlled systems (Siemens)
Reading and interpreting P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), As-built drawings
Familiarity for Maintenance and repair of:
Centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps
Agitators and mixers
Mechanical seals, packing, and bearings
Valves (ball, gate, check, control, relief, emergency shutdown)
Pressure vessels and storage tanks
Heat exchangers and cooling systems
Experience Requirements
Five (5) years of related experience with technical certification
Or seven (7) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment if no technical certification
Experience must include manufacturing equipment maintenance, repair and trouble shooting
Experienced in FDA regulations and safety practices
Job Profile Summary Responsible for:
Implementation, operation, and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems
Troubleshoots, tests, and assembles electro-mechanical assemblies
Assists in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment
Installing, calibrating, and testing equipment and systems including:
Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems
Installing, calibrating, repairing, and upgrading components of devices and systems, control equipment, operation panes, and facility infrastructure
Inspecting and maintaining equipment using tools and diagnostic software
