Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing maintenance team in Opa-locka. This is a long-term, career-focused opportunity for an A&P technician who wants to build stability, deepen hands-on experience, and grow within a business aviation environment.This role supports both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across corporate aircraft, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow with a company—not just rotate through short-term or airline-style roles.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft mechanical and electrical systems
Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
Conduct inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
Accurately document all maintenance actions per FAA and company procedures
Coordinate aircraft maintenance status with pilots, maintenance control, and operations
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition
Travel as needed to support offsite maintenance assignments
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Active FAA A&P License
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Valid U.S. Passport
Proven hands-on experience with aircraft mechanical and electrical systems
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Part 135 operations
Preferred Experience
Experience with business or corporate aircraft, including: Challenger 300/600 series, Premier 1A or similar platforms
Exposure to general maintenance, refurbishment, or modification projects
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces
Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and maintenance equipment
Tools
Technician must provide their own basic toolset
Specialty and calibrated tools provided by the company
