Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Data Analyst
to support a high-impact Business Intelligence (BI) modernization initiative. This role will play a key part in migrating reporting solutions from
SAP BusinessObjects
to
Microsoft Power BI , requiring strong analytical skills, hands-on BI development experience, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in business requirements and design meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Analyze existing SAP BusinessObjects reports and map functionality to future-state Microsoft BI solutions
Develop, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards using
Microsoft Power BI
in alignment with business requirements
Provide regular daily and weekly status updates, including progress tracking and
JIRA
updates
Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data or reporting issues
Support the decommissioning ("sunsetting") of legacy
SAP BusinessObjects
reports following successful migration
Ensure BI solutions follow data warehousing standards, best practices, and performance guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years
of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics development
Strong hands-on experience with
SAP BusinessObjects , including Web Intelligence (WebI), Universe Design, or related components
5+ years
of hands-on experience with
Microsoft Power BI , including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Advanced
SQL
skills with experience querying relational databases
Solid understanding of
data warehousing concepts
and BI best practices
Experience working in an
Agile
environment and providing structured status updates
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience migrating or converting reports from
SAP BusinessObjects to Power BI
Strong understanding of
Teradata
environments
Experience working within the
healthcare domain
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong BI technical background, hands-on Power BI and BusinessObjects experience, and prior exposure to healthcare data environments. They are detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working on large-scale BI transformation initiatives.
