Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Backend Developer to join a high-impact team responsible for a platform used to onboard new partners and developers. This position is mission-critical to near-term delivery and roadmap commitments. The role requires an individual who can become productive quickly and operate with a high level of independence due to current team capacity.

Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance backend services that support partner onboarding, developer enablement, and platform scalability.
Contribute immediately to sprint work and longer-term roadmap initiatives.
Develop features that are actively used in a production, partner-facing platform.
Work independently within a small team environment with delivery pressure.
Utilize Django (Python) for APIs and backend services.
Interact with databases via the Django ORM.
Be self-sufficient in lower AWS environments, including standing up Lambdas and using S3 buckets as required by designs.
Required Qualifications

Strong back-end engineering experience.
Hands-on Django experience or a strong background in Python/Node with the proven ability to ramp quickly.
Experience building and supporting production APIs.
Comfortable standing up required AWS resources to support development work.
Ability to work independently in a small team with delivery pressure.
A strong learning mindset and bias for action.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular.
Broader AWS exposure beyond the basics.
Experience working on small, high-visibility teams or external-facing platforms.
