
Lead Instructional Designer - Remote

We are currently looking for a Remote Instructional Designer. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing engaging eLearning programs for a diverse federal audience. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop creative online courses and assessments while ensuring accessibility and compliance. Accountabilities
Design and develop engaging online courses and assessments.
Conduct needs analysis for distinct audience groups.
Facilitate virtual listening sessions with stakeholders.
Create SCORM-compliant training modules for Blackboard LMS.
Convert in-person trainings to online formats.
Develop storyboards, activities, and assessment templates.
Design short video segments and fact sheets.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
5-8 years of relevant experience in instructional design.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Experience with courseware authoring tools (e.g., Articulate).
Proficient in developing content for diverse audiences.
Familiarity with Agile development methods.
Knowledge of Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 Level AA requirements.
