Secret IT Support Technician

This role supports the Base Line IT Program at Hanscom AFB by ensuring servers, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured and maintained for network operations. The position serves as the primary system troubleshooter, performing routine maintenance, backups, software updates, and security patching in accordance with Air Force and AFNOSC guidance. Responsibilities include implementing and enforcing Air Force IA policies, developing and maintaining system accreditation and C&A documentation, coordinating with the installation WCSO on network security, and reporting IA incidents or vulnerabilities. The role also manages software license compliance, inventories, and audits, ensuring all software is authorized, licensed, tracked, and compliant with government, Air Force, and local policies.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience in provide IT systems technical support. HS diploma or GED. Must be Security+ certified. Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems and Microsoft Office. Familiar with computer hardware and peripheral devices for identification and tracking purposes. Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must have strong customer service and communication skills. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
