
Senior Exploitation Specialist / Data Scientist

OVERVIEW
Streamline Defense is hiring a Senior GEOINT Data Scientist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. You will own the accuracy, consistency, and governance of geospatial data, developing and maintaining data standards while assessing analytic products for tradecraft and rigor across organizational and intra-IC boundaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accuracy and consistency of geospatial data management, including data standards development and protection of data per office and agency regulations
Perform in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries, and clearly articulate findings
Review analytic products for argumentation, tradecraft, industry and agency standards, and analytic rigor
Analyze complex data landscapes, identify data risks, and define mitigation strategies
Coordinate the implementation of data improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Maintain data governance artifacts and support audits and compliance requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing to take a CI Polygraph if required.
5+ years of experience in geospatial data management, data governance, or data stewardship, preferably in a complex organizational environment. A combination of education, professional certifications, and training may be substituted in lieu of years of experience.
Proficiency in SQL and a foundational understanding of database technologies, with the ability to analyze and profile data
Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality concepts
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and their impact on data management practices
Proficiency in the ESRI suite, geodatabase technologies, and web capabilities
Working knowledge of geospatial metadata, standards, and implementation
Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
