
Project Cost Administrator 1 - Service Invoicing - Remote

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Project Cost Administrator to join our amazing culture within the Strategic Enterprise Solutions Team (SES). In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating legal review of contracts, job set-up in Spectrum, project cost review and control, assisting with monthly financial forecast, and preparing progress billing. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify any project concerns with respect to delivery and cost, and you will work with managers to monitor and manage financial performance against monthly forecast and profit plan. As a Project Cost Administrator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

Review and submit service work order invoicing following customer guidelines and playbooks.
Process rejected invoices and follow up with local offices.
Follow standardized billing processes, identifying, tracking and resolving invoicing issues.
Submit invoices to customers through various customer and payment portals.
Document invoicing through Smartsheet systems to capture review process, dates submitted, etc.
Work with key stakeholders throughout Convergint organization to ensure that the customer guidelines are understood and to elevate issues to these stakeholders as needed.
What You’ll Need
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the business.
Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
Solid financial analytical skills including cost control and the ability to interpret financial reports.
Solid accounts receivable knowledge.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and results focused.
Solid team orientation.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
Strong organizational/time management skills.
Strong proficiency in financial software including the ability to track invoices, run reports, data entry, etc.

Requirements:
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience (but not required):
3 years bookkeeping or an accounting environment
3 years project cost accounting
2 years in a construction environment
