Job Summary
Per diem Pathologist position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New York.
Responsibilities
Review anatomic pathology specimens.
Perform frozen section evaluations.
Interpret cytology cases (GYN and non‑GYN).
Conduct rapid onsite cytology assessments.
Participate in occasional autopsies.
Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency.
Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Pathology experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
Subspecialty interest or fellowship preferred.
Excellent communication skills and strong desire to interact with clinicians and laboratory staff.
NY State medical license(s).
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate and eligibility to participate in a 401(k) plan.
Location
Vassar Brothers Medical Center, 361 Canal Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Approximately 75 miles north of New York City.
