Opportunity
Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA) offers comprehensive investment banking services within a global network. The Healthcare Investment Banking group focuses on M&A and capital markets in Payor Services.
Your key responsibilities
Initiate and lead execution of investment banking engagements in the Payor Services sector.
Cover the Payor Services sector and related subsectors, handling both buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions and capital market transactions.
Manage private and public middle‑market enterprises and relevant private equity sponsors.
Leverage EY’s global reach to communicate the firm’s capabilities to senior client executives.
Lead and develop a team of mid‑level and junior members, ensuring their career development.
Skills and attributes for success
Advise companies on M&A, strategic, and corporate finance transactions.
Supervise, coach, and mentor senior bankers and analysts to prepare pitch materials and offering memoranda.
Develop relationships with investors and strategic participants in the sector.
Perform extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis, and pro forma modeling.
Identify key issues and potential transaction risks within engagements.
Conduct in‑depth sector market and company‑specific coverage.
Contribute to recruiting and team development initiatives.
To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years.
Extensive investment banking experience, especially in originating and executing M&A transactions.
Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing).
Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior representative of the banking team.
Strong experience with originating transactions and leading execution.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, maintaining relationships at all levels.
A proven record of excellence in transaction execution for mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets in Payor Services and related sectors.
Experience in another credible investment banking organization.
Established networking skills in the relevant industry.
Willingness to travel and work excess standard hours when necessary.
Must reside or be within commuting distance to the office location.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
