I know what you’re thinking. "Commodity Futures Broker", these guys don’t know what they are doing. What Commodities? What markets?

Well, there are some that might well argue you’re right. But no, in this instance, we are retained by an eclectic and rapidly growing inter‑dealer broker with a genuine excitement for the markets and how they intertwine with one another. Imagine being a 5‑year‑old who has been given Lego, K’nex and some Mega Bloks for Christmas. The imagination and potential of this circumstance will bring you close to the way these guys see the markets.

Too many brokerages silo and segregate their teams in concrete boxes, focused on hyper‑niche markets with no interplay or cross‑sell opportunity. These guys think that’s bull.

Having built a market‑leading corn and grains desk on the CME, with a wealth of experience in both physical and derivative markets across ethanol and biofuels, there are a multitude of ways in which they can work together to capitalise on the cross‑sell opportunity that this brings. This is why we are looking for “Commodity Brokers”. Visionaries that see the wider market and how different asset classes can interplay to create new opportunity and critically, revenue streams.
