Amazon's Integrated Design Solutions (IDS) team seeks an Architectural Design Manager to lead composite design delivery across fulfillment operations. This role drives spatial coordination of building shell, material handling equipment, and safety modules while managing cross-functional design programs.
Key Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end composite delivery, integrating architectural drawings with MHE layouts and operational requirements.
Lead clash detection, establish BIM standards, and ensure construction‑ready designs meet launch timelines.
Manage design resources across concurrent projects and serve as primary interface to WWDE, Operations, and Construction partners.
Overlay safety modules (5S, egress, fire protection, WHS compliance) to facilitate safe working conditions and coordinate structural constraints.
Conduct clash detection between building structure, MHE systems, and operational modules using Navisworks.
Establish BIM standards and drive process improvements that scale across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading architecture and design of new and current systems or managing teams.
6+ years of design program management experience.
Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp, KeyShot, or similar.
Experience driving process excellence and productivity improvement initiatives, including Kaizen methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering (any domain) or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience delivering design solutions for large scope and complex projects.
Experience building cross‑functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization without a direct reporting relationship.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
