**PURPOSE AND SCOPE:**The **Warehouse Manager** will be responsible for managing and leading multiple areas of the inbound and/or outbound warehouse operations to achieve company goals, including exceptional retailer service and outstanding operational efficiencies.
Areas of responsibility could include but is not limited to Safety, Outbound, Inbound, Inventory, Data, Customer Service and Profiling.
The Warehouse Manager will have direct reports of one or more Managers and 5 or more Supervisors.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for providing all levels of staff with leadership, vision, insight, and motivation within their areas of responsibility.
The Warehouse Manager will also develop and implement short- and long-term plans for all departments in accordance with Ace objectives and strategic plans and is responsible for the warehouse’s success. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:**Responsible for the overall operation of the inbound and outbound functions to include inventory control and building profiling/space utilization.
The **Warehouse Manager** will assist the Retail Support Manager in the warehouse’s strategic direction and communicates initiatives to subordinates in an effective manner to achieve the expected levels of execution. Demonstrates knowledge of warehouse operations to include inbound and outbound activities, inventory, data, customer service and profiling. Demonstrates the ability to create a positive employee relations environment which results in high performing teams. Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
