Scope of Tasks – SAP IBP Consultant (S&OP Pilot)
The SAP IBP Consultant will support the design, implementation, and validation of a pilot solution for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). The objective is to establish an integrated planning process aligning demand, supply, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current business processes and identify gaps in the existing S&OP landscape.
Design the target S&OP process aligned with business requirements and best practices.
Configure SAP IBP modules (e.g., IBP for S&OP) including planning areas, key figures, and planning levels.
Support integration of demand, supply, and inventory plans into a unified S&OP process.
Facilitate alignment between cross‑functional stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance).
Define and implement planning cycles, workflows, and approval processes.
Support scenario planning and what‑if simulations.
Ensure data consistency and integration with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., ERP).
Conduct system testing (unit testing, integration testing, UAT).
Provide training and documentation for business users.
Support pilot execution and evaluate results for further rollout.
Deliverables
S&OP process design documentation.
Configured SAP IBP S&OP planning model.
Test scripts and test results.
Training materials and user documentation.
Pilot evaluation report with recommendations.
