Job Objective
The Infrastructure Lead will be the sole point of contact responsible for overseeing and managing both physical and digital infrastructure across multiple office locations. This includes working independently to ensure seamless operations, performance, and security of all hardware, systems, and services. The individual will interface with both internal teams and external vendors, providing leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Physical Infrastructure Management
Oversee and maintain all office infrastructure including phones, video conferencing equipment, printers, and scanners across multiple office locations.
Ensure proper functioning, regular maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical equipment.
Coordinate with vendors for the procurement and installation of new office equipment as needed.
Digital Infrastructure Management
Manage cloud‑based servers and desktops to ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime.
Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud‑based infrastructure.
Ensure seamless integration between cloud systems and on‑premise infrastructure.
Serve as the primary point of contact for two outsourced vendors managing the physical and digital service desks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high‑quality service and timely issue resolution.
Coordinate with vendors to handle escalations, resolve issues, and ensure SLAs are met.
Develop and implement a long‑term infrastructure strategy that aligns with company growth and technology advancements.
Manage capacity planning and ensure that infrastructure resources are allocated effectively.
Regularly assess infrastructure needs and recommend upgrades or new solutions where necessary.
Problem Resolution & Support
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure‑related issues and provide support as needed for both physical and digital infrastructure.
Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for maintaining a secure, efficient, and scalable infrastructure environment.
Compliance & Security
Ensure that all infrastructure, both physical and digital, complies with relevant industry regulations, standards, and security best practices.
Work closely with the security team to implement and monitor security measures across all infrastructure assets.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all infrastructure components, processes, and workflows.
Provide regular status reports and updates to senior leadership on infrastructure performance, improvements, and challenges.
Independent & Cross‑functional Collaboration
Work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of all infrastructure‑related issues.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., IT, HR, Operations) to ensure the infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the business.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in managing both physical and digital infrastructure, preferably in a multi‑office environment.
Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, networking, and hardware systems.
Experience working with outsourced vendors and managing service‑level agreements (SLAs).
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot both physical and digital infrastructure issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for infrastructure management and security.
Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or IT infrastructure management.
Experience in an enterprise‑level IT environment with a focus on scalability and security.
Knowledge of video conferencing solutions and VoIP systems.
The expected base salary for this position is $150,000 plus discretionary bonus. Total compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and overall contribution.
The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role‑specific skills. Base salary represents one element of Silvercrest’s comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive‑based compensation.
