Role: Tax Manager
Location: San Diego, California
Qualifications
Active CPA license.
Minimum 3–6 years of experience as a senior level accountant (or equivalent), and 5–10 years overall experience in certified public accounting firms.
Technical proficiency to supervise complete engagements.
Ability to manage a book of business and supervise tax associates and seniors.
Responsibilities
Supervise and complete routine engagements.
Supervise Tax Associates and Tax Seniors, providing feedback and evaluating progress.
Become experts in assigned areas.
Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm.
Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners.
Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
Maintain high proficiency and knowledge of the firm's policies and procedures.
Work effectively at the level required under partner discretion.
