JR-16391**St John of God Midland Private Hospital** is a brand new standalone private hospital in Midland, the first of its kind for Perth’s eastern suburbs and the wider Wheatbelt region and reinforces St John of God Health Care’s commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of local communities by meeting rising demand and delivering high-quality, accessible care - now and into the future.

Located within the historic Midland Workshops precinct, St John of God Midland Private Hospital will include 123 inpatient beds, a critical care unit, eight operating theatres, day surgery, and the region’s first interventional cardiology services.A rare opportunity exists for a high performing executive to lead and support the expression and integration of our Vision, Mission and Values in all aspects of hospital operations and through broader community engagement as SJGHC continues to respond to the unmet healthcare needs of Perth’s eastern corridor and Wheatbelt.Reporting to the St John of God Midland Private Hospital CEO, the 0.6 FTE **Director Mission Integration (DMI)** plays a vital role in advancing the Mission of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) through strong, inclusive leadership and the implementation of the SJGHC Mission Strategy.As a key member of the executive leadership team, the DMI works to strengthen the understanding, capacity, and capability for Mission among senior leaders and managers. This role is instrumental in ensuring that the Mission is actively embedded across all aspects of organisational life, shaping culture, decision-making, and leadership practice.

The DMI holds executive responsibility for Pastoral Services, Volunteer Services, Community Inclusion, Reconciliation Action Plan, Disability Access and Inclusion, key celebrations and Mission events.The DMI also maintains a professional reporting line to the Chief Mission Integration Officer (CMIO), with day-to-day support from the National Manager Mission Integration (NMMI). The NMMI fosters collaboration across the national network of Mission leaders, ensuring a cohesive, consistent, and integrated approach to Mission across SJGHC.**The Position*** Serves as a resource to the CEO and Hospital leadership team with regard to considerations of health care and community services that are reflective of a Catholic ministry.* Provides vision and leadership for Mission integration within the Hospital in partnership with the CEO and Hospital Management Committee (HMC).* Assists in maintaining the integrity of the Catholic identity of the hospital and assists the CEO to take action where there are opportunities.* Assists members of the Hospital Management Team (HMC) to broaden their scope of concern beyond traditional organisational priorities to create a well-integrated frame of reference for business decisions and processes that reflects SJGHC Mission and ethical practice.* Deliver initiatives in formation in partnership with SJGHC’s Senior Manager Formation & Ethics and SJGHC Learning & Development team that reflect the goals of formation* In conjunction with hospital CEO, serves as a point of liaison with local Social Outreach Services to ensure the relationships between hospitals and community services remain strong, particularly through shared events and celebrations.* Provide leadership, through effective personal, professional communication, and interpersonal capabilities and change management as well as team and strategic capabilities – as outlined in the SJGHC Leadership Profile.You will be Catholic and/or have demonstrated knowledge and experience of and commitment to, Catholic faith, culture and practices and possess a qualification in Theology, Scripture, Ethics, Ministry or related studies, with an understanding and application of key theological principles to all aspects of Mission aligned leadership.To succeed you will develop the leadership abilities of senior leaders and managers to align with, and promote, organisational mission, vision and values; have experience as a strategic and influential leader including the capacity to build collaborative relationships among senior leaders; and possess knowledge in developing, presenting and facilitating formation programs.Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.**We can offer you*** Highly Competitive Remuneration Package* A permanent part time position, working 3 days per week, 45.6 hours per fortnight.* Salary packaging up to **$18,550** on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:* Novated leasing* work related expenses* self-education and* additional superannuation* Access to novated leasing to use pre-tax dollars for a car and expenses* A welcoming & supportive culture* Discounts on hospital services & private health insurance* Dynamic multidisciplinary team* Various corporate discounts & benefits*All applicants are asked to submit a resume and covering letter of no more than two (2) pages demonstrating how you meet the above position requirements***For further information please contact Tara Peters, Chief Mission Integration Officer 0412 334 618**.
