VP of Product, Private Wealth Solutions

Your Team Responsibilities:

The Private Wealth team directs product strategy, design and development for MSCI Private Assets in support of the Wealth Management industry. Our mission is to expand access to private markets for individual investors in partnership with fund managers, wealth managers and wealth platforms. We support the expansion of private markets by bringing to market new products and orchestrating holistic solutions that increase efficiency, optimize investment outcomes, improve investor experiences and strengthen advisory relationships.
Your Key Responsibilities:

You will collaborate closely with customers and internal partners across MSCI to understand market needs, create new products and influence the direction of our broader product roadmap.
Lead customer discovery and participate in customer outreach to increase our understanding of the needs of the Wealth Segment and the opportunities to improve our offerings.
Support the development of partnerships that promote transparency, standardization and interoperability across the industry.
Contribute to publications and presentations that MSCIs profile as to thought leadership in private markets for the wealth segment.
Collaborate with marketing and coverage teams to develop go-to-market campaigns and communications for clients, partners and prospects.
Collaborate with research and data to identify, source and refine new sources of data to differentiate and fuel our product offerings.
Define scope and specifications for new data, index and analytics products in partnership with our technology team.
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from the definition of customer needs and business cases to go-to-market planning and execution.
Contribute to the ongoing definition of our Private Assets strategy in the Wealth segment through internal forums and working groups.
Advocate for enhancements to and integration of products across the enterprise, helping integrate Private Assets capabilities across the enterprise in support of our One MSCI strategy.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

7+ years experience in product management, focusing principally on financial services data/analytics products
Strong quantitative skills and experience applying those skills to business case development and industry/competitor analysis
Demonstrated interest in and understanding of AI technology
Experience applying lean/agile practices to the design and development of new products in collaboration with researchers, data analysts, UX designers and engineers
Experience working closely with marketing and coverage teams to plan, execute and support go-to-market efforts, as well as develop partnerships
Experience monitoring, managing and optimizing existing products in market based on quantitative and qualitative data
Strong knowledge of and experience with private markets investment products, in particular wealth-focused vehicles such as evergreen / semi-liquid funds
Strong knowledge of and experience with the wealth management industry, in particular pre-investment and post-investment activities as they relate to private markets
About MSCI:

Salary range: $119,000 - $155,000 / year plus eligible for annual bonus
