Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Dallas, TX. This role offers an excellent working environment with a mix of cutting-edge design, hands-on laboratory testing, and product development. What You Will Be Doing

Leading and contributing to the design, development, and implementation of RF and radar systems, including signal processing algorithm development and high-fidelity simulation environments.

Conducting RF simulation analysis, antenna test data analysis, and captive flight test performance data analysis to evaluate sensor and system performance.

Developing and optimizing signal processing algorithms for RF applications such as radar, wireless communications, and software defined radios (SDR).

Using MATLAB, Python, and C++ for tool development, scripting, simulation, data analysis, and code review.

Performing RF requirements analyses, executing trade studies, and providing data-driven recommendations during design reviews.

Collaborating with cross-functional and multi-company teams, interfacing with suppliers, partners, and customers to balance competing priorities.

Developing and maintaining technical documentation, analysis packages, validation reports, and lessons-learned documentation.

Managing version-controlled repositories (e.g., GitLab), creating merge requests, and documenting changes.

Preparing status briefs for program leadership and partner contractors, highlighting analysis findings and risk items.

Location
This position is in Dallas.

Security Clearance
Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance; therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university (preferably with an RF Focus) and 3+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience with X-band and Ka-band RF sub-assemblies.

RF troubleshooting experience including root cause investigations.

Model-Based Systems Engineering experience, specifically for RF subsystems.

Experience with RF test equipment (benchtop and automated).

Experience in RF test requirements.

DoD Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one); US citizenship required.

Desired Skills

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, preferably with an RF Focus.

Defense or aerospace industry experience; previous missile or defense program experience.

Control Account Manager (CAM) experience for program execution.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences and work across multiple functions.

Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test setups and exposure to flight, HWIL, and high-fidelity simulation data environments.

Experience with version control tools (GitLab branching, CI/CD, merge request workflows).

Experience with LabView and test equipment software development.

Proactive problem solver with a detail-oriented and growth mindset; aptitude for learning on the job.

Remote Work and Schedule
Part-time remote telework: the employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Schedule for this position: 4×10 hour days, 3 days off per week.
