00021682# **An exciting career awaits you**At MPC, we’re committed to being a great place to work – one that welcomes new ideas, encourages diverse perspectives, develops our people, and fosters a collaborative team environment.**POSITION SUMMARY:**In this role you will help develop and deliver the output from statistical, multivariate, machine learning, physics-based, and rule-based reliability platforms to operational groups as part of central reliability team.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Liaison with data science and system integrators to build anomaly and conformance detection systems that drive improved process reliability* Interface directly with either refinery area teams or process technologists to deliver insights from central reliability systems* Provide human-in-the-loop analysis of all insights developed through the central reliability group as part of the triage process prior to delivery to an operating area* Assist in the development and conformance to formal governance regarding case management of insight delivery* Collaborate with refining technical support engineers in the adoption of machine learning techniques for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and process optimization* Manages stakeholder expectations and delivers actionable solutions* Collaborate with external partners, research institutions, and subject matter experts to gather domain-specific knowledge and datasets* Engagement with senior and executive refining leadership to broaden understanding of the value and risks associated with complex mathematical models**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** B.S.
