We're seeking a strategic tax professional to shape the financial landscape of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. In this pivotal role, you'll provide critical US and international tax guidance that supports our dynamic video streaming and content entertainment ecosystem, helping us navigate complex global tax environments while enabling business expansion and innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive tax-efficient strategies for international business expansions and restructuring initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic tax support and alignment in a fast-paced environment.

Create and maintain robust documentation supporting tax guidance, reporting, compliance, and related controversy matters.

Translate complex tax concepts into clear, actionable insights for tax and non-tax partners.

Monitor and communicate evolving international and US tax regulations impacting our entertainment businesses.

Day in the Life
Your day includes strategic tax planning, cross-functional collaboration, and creative problem-solving. You’ll dive deep into US and international tax complexities, translating regulations into actionable insights, working closely with business leaders, finance teams, and legal experts to develop tax-efficient strategies that support our ambitious global content and distribution goals.

Team Overview
We are a collaborative, forward-thinking tax team dedicated to supporting Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios' global growth. Our team plays a crucial role in enabling business initiatives, ensuring tax compliance, and providing strategic technical guidance that supports our mission of delivering world-class entertainment to customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.

Experience in taxation in a corporate environment, public accounting firm or major law firm.

Knowledge of international indirect tax planning and strong understanding or practical experience with tax laws in other countries.

Experience making data-driven business decisions.

Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and coaching junior staff.

Experience with accounting concepts and tax regulations, laws and standards.

Experience with tax modeling in Excel-based models or other similar programs.

Benefits

Base salary range: USA, CA, Culver City – $151,300.00 - $204,700.00 annually; USA, NY, New York – $166,500.00 - $225,200.00 annually.
