The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Moses Cone Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join as Teaching Faculty (0.5 or 1.0 FTE) in Greensboro, NC. This clinician-educator role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient teaching within a community-based academic program affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our program includes 22 residents (6 categorical per year + 4 preliminary interns) and emphasizes clinical reasoning, evidence-based medicine, and resident mentorship.
Faculty will teach and mentor residents and students, participate in curriculum development, evaluation, and scholarly activity, and have opportunities for leadership within the program. Our collaborative faculty team fosters a supportive learning environment with a structured conference series including morning report, noon conference, journal club, and grand rounds. Interest in outpatient medicine, underserved care, or global health is welcomed.
