Manager of NetSuite Advisory
to join their exceptional New York–based Managing Director and help build and scale a NetSuite consulting and implementation practice. This highly visible role will play a key part in driving business development and expanding the practice into a recognized market leader in NetSuite solutions. The firm recently achieved a
Series C raise , fueled not only by its advisory services but also by proprietary software products that create long‑term client relationships well beyond the initial consulting engagement. Hybrid environment requires 1 day a week in their Midtown office.
About the Role
We are seeking a NetSuite professional with a strong understanding of core financial business processes and hands-on NetSuite implementation experience. This role will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing tailored NetSuite solutions, and guiding clients through successful ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in finance and accounting workflows, system configurations, and best practices for optimizing NetSuite to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support NetSuite implementations, configurations, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Analyze and map core financial processes (e.g., General Ledger, AP/AR, Revenue Recognition, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, Financial Reporting).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into NetSuite solutions.
Configure and customize NetSuite, including workflows, scripts, saved searches, and reports, to enhance system functionality.
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within NetSuite.
Provide user training, support, and documentation to ensure effective system adoption.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration and system scalability.
Assist in data migration, system testing, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support.
Stay up to date with NetSuite updates and industry best practices to provide proactive recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
5-6 + years of experience in NetSuite implementation and consulting, with a focus on financial modules.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and core business processes (CPA or finance background is a plus).
Hands-on experience with NetSuite configurations, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and saved searches.
Experience in business process mapping and optimization within NetSuite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead discussions with stakeholders and end-users.
Experience with SuiteScript, integrations, or other ERP systems is a plus.
