We’re seeking a compassionate and committed School Psychologist to join a collaborative and student-centered academic team in Cook County, IL for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success within the school environment.
Position Details
Location:
In-person in Cook County, IL (hybrid or remote options are not available)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Hours:
32.5–37 hours per week
Grade Level(s):
To be determined
Duration:
August 2026 – June 2027
Responsibilities
Provide direct psychological services to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs outlined in their IEPs
Conduct evaluations and assessments in the social-emotional and behavioral domains
Develop, implement, and support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Deliver individual and group counseling services as appropriate
Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Provide consultation and support to educators, administrators, and families
Assist with crisis intervention and student support as needed
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting student well-being and educational success
