Job Description
The Senior Program Manager is accountable for leading and executing core programs. This role serves as the interoperability program manager and API lead, while also supporting the business execution data team. This position is responsible for driving enterprise-wide alignment on interoperability requirements mandated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and ensuring organizational compliance with CMS interoperability mandates.
Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and lead operational plans for programs and initiatives related to assigned line of business across all market segments and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts
Collaborate with various business units, cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and on budget implementation of programs
Conduct analysis, design solutions, and monitor performance against metrics, business and/or client requirements
Manage products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented
Collaborate with other business units to develop business cases to support new program opportunities/enhancements and performance target metrics
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
5 years of work experience in healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or health care consulting
1 year of project/program management experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
Ability to work in self-directed environment
Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate issues and develop innovative solutions
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
Experience with interoperability requirements mandated by CMS
Experience in client facing roles effectively communicating and building relationships with clients
Experience in driving enterprise-wide alignment
