Position Summary
We are seeking a
Front Desk Coordinator / Receptionist
to own the
patient experience from first touch through check-out .
This is not just an admin role—this person is critical to
clinic flow, scheduling efficiency, and revenue capture .
What You’ll Do
Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional experience
Manage scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to maximize clinic utilization
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Verify insurance and collect copays at time of visit
Ensure accurate patient intake and documentation
Coordinate with clinical team to keep schedules full and on track
Identify and fill open slots proactively
Who We’re Looking For

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong communicator (in-person and phone)
Proactive and solution-oriented
Comfortable in a fast-paced, patient-facing role
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in customer service, admin, or healthcare front desk
Basic computer and scheduling system proficiency
Nice to have:
Experience with medical scheduling or insurance verification
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (athenahealth a plus)
