Network Security Engineer – Senior (Hybrid, Fort Wayne, IN)
We are hiring a permanent Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and evolution of our enterprise network and cybersecurity infrastructure. This is a high‑impact role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic vision to secure our hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments. You will be the go‑to expert for network security operations, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring team members, and ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and secure.

Duties
Serve as the technical lead and escalation point for network security operations.
Architect and implement secure network solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Cybersecurity, DevOps, Cloud CoE) to ensure secure solution design.
Define and monitor KPIs for network security performance and incident response.
Lead and document incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain and evolve network security policies, procedures, and runbooks.
Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for critical network support.
Maintain a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Use excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
Hands on with zero‑trust architecture and network.
Strengthen cybersecurity posture in response to evolving threats.
Support digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Build a resilient and scalable network to support business growth.
