In this position, you will assist in planning, organizing, and leading engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and personal growth. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant and inclusive environment for all participants.Responsibilities- Assist in planning and organizing daily activities and events for residents.- Facilitate engaging group activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.- Provide one-on-one interaction and support to residents during activities.- Set up and clean up activity areas, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying needs and abilities.- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive activities program.- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding activity schedules and resident needs.- Assist in creating promotional materials for upcoming events and activities.- Support residents during outings and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.- Monitor inventory and report any needs for supplies or equipment related to activities.- Stay updated on new activity trends and techniques to enhance the program.- Respect and maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.On-Site Perks•
