Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as
Certified Private Capital Review Analysts .
This is
not
a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Private Capital Review Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Independently review live private capital transactions and investment materials
Support investors and fund managers with second-layer analytical validation
Evaluate deal quality, assumptions, and risk across transactions
Build a verified deal review track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Private Capital Review Analyst · Lead Private Capital Review Analyst · Private Capital Review Analyst / Associate
Senior Private Capital Review Analyst
Rating Score:
90–100
Pay:
$150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, institutional research, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of investment evaluation and review experience.
Lead Private Capital Review Analyst
Rating Score:
80–89
Pay:
$100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience reviewing deals, underwriting assumptions, and investment memoranda.
Private Capital Review Analyst / Associate
Rating Score:
60–79
Pay:
$50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and experience supporting deal review, diligence, or investment research.
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Private Capital Review Analysts may be engaged for:
Deal & Investment Review
Independent review of financial models and assumptions
Validation of valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparables)
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside assessment
Identification of inconsistencies, risks, and red flags
Cross-check of deal narratives versus financial outcomes
Review of Quality of Earnings (QoE) findings
Assessment of commercial and operational diligence outputs
Risk ranking and downside exposure analysis
Capital structure and leverage review
Investment Committee & Decision Support
IC presentation review and refinement
Summary findings and key-issue reporting for decision-makers
Analysts may
only
perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated review quality—not tenure.

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Investment Review Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Private Capital Review Analyst receives a
0–100 Analyst Rating Score , which determines:
Visibility to investors and fund managers
Approved review categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-complexity and higher-impact review engagements
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to
10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning:
$2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, objectivity, or compliance issues
