Telehealth Opportunities
HealthLinkNow, part of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is looking for a patient-focused experienced Licensed Telehealth Therapist LCSW/LMFT/LPCC to join our growing team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for innovative clinicians who are committed to providing exceptional patient care from the convenience of your own home. The Clinician will be completing psychosocial initial assessments for adults in an inpatient setting.
This is a 100% remote position, 1099 contract. Licensed in District of Columbia.
Remote Psychosocial Assessment for new admission Inpatient clients.
Population
- Inpatient Adult Clients
Patients are admitted for a variety of mental health and addiction issues. This may include clients with complex medical needs.
Clients may include voluntary and involuntary admissions.
Schedule
- Up to 20 hours a week.
Schedule is flexible and need is for weekdays between 9 am to 5 pm Eastern time.
Minimum of 3 to 5 hours per day which includes time for documentation.
Assessment Tool
- the Behavior and Symptoms Identification Scale (BASIS-32) will be used as a part of the psychosocial assessment.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
platform - Cerner.

Conduct initial psychosocial assessments on new patients.
Experience using the Behavior and Symptoms Identification Scale (BASIS-32) assessment tool preferred.
Collaborate with Facility Treatment Team to provide continuity of Care
Embrace innovative telemedicine approaches for patient care.
Document assessments and maintain electronic health records.
Technology Requirements
Must use personal laptop/computer that can run Zoom and other applications required for Telehealth remote work.
Must use a HIPAA-compliant office workspace.
Internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
Speakers and a microphone - built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth
A webcam or HD webcam - built-in, USB plug-in or an HD cam or HD camcorder with a video-capture card OR virtual camera software for use with broadcasting software like OBS or IP cameras.

Comfortable with technology and distance-based management of patients.
Experience working with Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency a plus.
Experience working with involuntary placement status a plus.
