Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Experienced Registered Nurse to join the 25 & 26 Main Acute Care team. This role will be PRN night shift, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (days vary).

Acute Care Unit (25 & 26 Main)

is a 31-bed, dynamic unit caring for a diverse patient population, including medical, cardiac, surgical, trauma, neurology/stroke, and oncology patients. This is a unit opportunity to build a broad clinical skill set while working in a supportive, team-focused environment. With specialized training and strong mentorship, nurses gain confidence managing a wide range of patient needs while helping shape a growing, high-performing unit. Registered Nurse (RN)

Acute Care Unit Job Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their relationships.
Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
Conducts all patient care in a patient and family centered manner, integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
Advocates for patients' rights from the patient and family perspective and provides counsel while acting as a resource to resolve issues.
Accesses resources from all disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes and coordinates healthcare and alternate services for patient/family transition planning.
Evaluates the process to achieve outcomes, anticipates patient variances and makes revisions to plans of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associate's degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Experience : Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
Certification : Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
