Description The Manufacturing Applications Engineer will design and modify mechanical components and assemblies while supporting production, process development, and customer-facing needs. This role combines applications engineering, DFMA, tooling involvement, and shop-floor collaboration to ensure products meet performance, quality, and cost targets. Key responsibilities include: Designing components, assemblies, tooling, and supporting manufacturing processes. Providing technical support to sales, customers, and internal production teams. Developing work instructions, cost models, and engineering documentation. Profile The ideal Manufacturing Applications Engineer candidate is a mechanically minded engineer with experience in manufacturing environments who likes working across design, production, and customer-facing functions. They bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. Key qualifications include: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Background in machining, metal stamping, assembly, or manufacturing methods. Proficiency in CAD tools and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances.
