Logistics Clerk (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2nd Shift (4 p.m.–12 a.m.; may rotate to 1st/3rd shift, 1–2 weekends/month, 8–12 hr/day, possible OT). Open for W2 candidates only.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Execute warehouse operations in terms of service, cost, health & safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policy compliance.
Collaborate with internal and external partners, including third‑party logistics vendors, to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.
Manage inventory activities such as iDoc management, stock reconciliation, interfaces monitoring, track & trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tender support, third‑party performance management, and pallet management.
Review and analyze stock inaccuracies to guarantee accurate alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system; analyze capacity utilization, performance, and KPI monitoring; introduce corrective measures when KPIs are missing or capacity needs reduction.
Work with service providers to ensure delivery of trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, adhering to quality and HACCP guidelines.
Monitor inbound, outbound, co‑packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf‑life monitoring, reduce write‑offs, and identify productivity improvement opportunities.
Conduct project‑related and ad‑hoc tasks, particularly continuous improvement projects, tenders, and peak management.
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain inventory of warehouse supplies.
Communicate effectively with carriers, brokers, and internal departments regarding shipments; follow up on driver appointments; schedule carrier appointments; build outbound loads; receive inbound packaging shipments arriving on shift.
Transfer products between bakery and off‑site warehouses; keep accurate records of what is on trailers stored in the yard.
Handle donation, take‑home, and animal feed shipments; oversee disposal of expired packaging according to protocol.
Support warehouse operators on shift; ensure trucks depart on time and communicate with appropriate parties if delays occur.
Operate telehandler on the shipping side for loading/unloading or as requested by other departments.
Perform additional clerical duties for shipping offices as required.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (minimum).
3–5 years of experience in logistics operations, procurement, or supply chain functions (preferred).
Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP R3.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including any shift on rotation.
Experience with Microsoft applications, especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Enjoys teamwork and demonstrates analytical thinking.
