The Manager, Produce Replenishment coordinates across supply chain, merchandising, and sales to drive strong produce service and inventory results. This role is expected to support both strategic decisions on Produce buying and lane management as well as day‑to‑day troubleshooting and vendor/partner escalations.

For External Interest
Must sit within the West Coast (PST) and or Central Area (CST). The role is segmented as Hybrid meaning the position will be onsite as often as needed.

Internal Interest
You must be located near a US Foods location and work hours PST/CST hours. Preference would be located and sit within the West Coast (PST) and or Central (CST) Area. The role is segmented as Hybrid meaning the position will be onsite as often as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

Owns cross‑functional produce strategy, working across supply chain and merchandising to achieve produce service level, PO accuracy, Days of Inventory on Hand (DIOH), spoilage and freight KPIs

Own the overall strategy for issue recovery / disruption recovery on produce lanes. Utilizes intimate lane knowledge to support truck loading issues, including stepping in to coordinate with vendors and partners on major disruptions over the weekends and afterhours

Align all relevant merchandising counterparts, including the Regional Category Manager and Sourcing Manager, on key replenishment decisions

Manages KPI performance vs. goals, provide direction to region leadership (RPs, ELT), and take corrective action to ensure performance targets are met

Owns the training curriculum for senior produce buyers and completes “train the trainer” duties with ADRs for new senior buyers

Drives demand best practices and ensures effective safety stock strategies that allow us to prioritize service to the customer

Directs offshore support team in tracking / monitoring critical vendor lanes (i.e., 911 lanes) for the field

Manage vendor and partner performance in collaboration with the Produce category team

Serves as a produce subject matter expert to PRC managers, logistics team, and replenishment in making critical lane decisions and in managing any day‑to‑day disruptions with produce lanes

Direct replenishment strategy around holiday truck planning and seasonal growing region transitions, and provide coaching to the ADRs and Senior Buyers

Spearhead effort to work with category management and maximize growth and profit opportunities tied to Replenishment.

Align Merchandising, Sales and Revenue Management stakeholders on resolution of vendor and pricing issues.

Work Environment

Hybrid: This role is partially remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a combined home‑based and office‑based environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 10 years replenishment experience required

Minimum 5 years of experience working in supply chain with produce

Must be extremely organized, analytical and possess highly developed written/oral communication, management, training and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience with planning systems (e.g., Blue Yonder) required

Education

Four‑year degree or equivalent experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Prior supply chain experience in the food distribution industry preferred

This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $85,000 - $145,000.
