This is a full-time, hybrid role located in the Greater Seattle Area for the Senior Systems Test Lead. The Test Lead will manage the execution of integration, verification, and validation of onboard system software. They will also provide mentorship and leadership to more junior engineers, helping them guide through software verification and associated design assurance processes.
Basic Qualifications
Systems software validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integration
Experience leading test programs compliant with airplane software certification using RTCA DO-178C
Experience authoring certification or process documentation and optimizing existing process.
Proven experience interacting with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Coordinate and collaborate as needed, including performing periodic audits, to ensure alignment of software design and verification with higher level planning documentation
Ability to plan, execute, and troubleshoot complex software systems integration to validate interface definition and system requirements of airplane network systems
Experience with DOORS or similar requirements development and management tool
Demonstrated ability to guide the successful completion of major programs
A minimum of nine years of prior relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for aviation and familiarity with airplane systems is a plus
Experience with airplane networks and communication
Basic knowledge of network protocols, routing table definitions, and network architecture definitions
Familiar with software development life cycle
Familiarity with Linux and other Unix-style operating systems
Familiarity with git, JIRA
Experience with test procedures, lab testing, and troubleshooting
Excellent verbal and written communications
Familiarity with Development Assurance, Certification and Safety Analysis, and ARP4754
Customer focus and ability to jump to the hottest "fire" and contribute to problem solutions
An accredited degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. Preference for ABET accreditation.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $160k - 200k.
In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
