Hyosung HICO is seeking an Associate Warehouse Logistics Technician. The ideal candidate performs routine duties such as loading/unloading materials, transporting materials to proper locations, staging and verifying materials and quantities, shipping materials, parts, supplies and/or equipment to support manufacturing operations, and entering inventory record information into SAP to maintain inventory accuracy.

The Essential Functions of the Position Include, but are not limited to the following:

Operate material handling equipment such as fork trucks, cranes and pallet jacks.

Check, count, and verify supplier deliveries against supplier packing lists.

Load and unload trailers or rail cars.

Safely rig and move loads with an overhead crane.

Move and deliver materials throughout the work area.

Maintain inventory and location accuracy.

Pick and move materials per schedule.

Remove trash, scrap and waste materials as required.

Remove packaging materials and prepare materials for production.

Perform pre‑assembly tasks ahead of production per standard work.

Fabricate and assemble wooden packaging materials such as skids and crates.

Fabricate wooden fixtures and jigs from drawings and specifications.

Package components for shipment and load material for shipment.

Ensure quality inspections and holds are respected and supported.

Stage and return NCR material to the warehouse as required.

Coordinate and direct truck drivers in preparation for loading or unloading.

Follow the company’s procedures to record all transactions on paper or in the business system.

Assist other areas as needed.

Support and assist the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor as needed.

Work under the direction of the appropriate Hyosung HICO policy and/or procedure.

Know Hyosung HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and be able to discuss their importance to work.

Other Occasionally Required Functions

Perform basic preventative maintenance and TPM on equipment/machines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Special Skills / Experience / Training

High School Diploma or GED plus one year of warehousing and inventory control, or equivalent education and experience.

Knowledge of safety/operations procedures required to safely operate machinery and equipment (e.g., fork truck, crane).

Detail-oriented and conscientious.

Basic computer skills.

Knowledge and experience using various power and hand tools.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize different tasks and workload.

Good eye‑hand coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, and visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

Ability to maintain relationships with a diverse group of suppliers.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing projects and workload.
