
Operations Analyst

Our client, a well-known Asset Manager in Midtown, NY, is looking to add an Operations Associate to their team! This is an immediate need, with responsibilities including preparing funding requests, managing and reviewing employee expense reports, and preparing weekly cash forecast models. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of operations and treasury experience, strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and an understanding of financial services.
Job Responsibilities:
Record, monitor, perform P/L reporting and position reconciliation of trading activity for multi-strategy and core investment vehicles
Assist with daily cash management, processing, reconciliation and reporting including margin and settlement of private equity funds
Perform cash forecasting and liquidity analyses of investment vehicles, including asset – liability mismatch
Confirm both cash and repo trades with counterparties
Provide support to accounting/management for financial reporting
Assist with the development of system and process enhancements and completing special project initiatives
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related discipline
Previous settlement and margin call experience is required
Previous accounting/treasury experience is preferred
