BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The FSL Order Filler position requires the team member to pull and package orders in an accurate and timely fashion and will also be responsible for VMI at the FSL location.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order pulling in the floor area of warehouse.
Scanning parts with an RF scanner gun.
Identification of parts.
Counting parts physically or with a scale.
Maintaining a clean work environment.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. Professional customer service.
Logical in thought process and diligent in implementation.
Use of or understanding of the ERP operating system (Prophet 21).
Knowledge of bin fill systems and VMI operations.
Ability to communicate to all internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain the quality & accuracy of VMI operations, with the common goal of putting the customer first.
Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
INDICATES ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully an associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School degree or equivalent required.
SKILLS
Microsoft Office software knowledge required.
Ability to lift 40-50 lb. required.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
Attention to detail required.
Efficient work habits & time management skills required.
Basic math skills required.
Constant walking/pushing hand cart required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel.
Compensation : ($15.11 - $23.75 per hour depending on candidate location and experience).
